The Judicial Council has four standing commttees that meet routinely. These committees are segmented into different research areas and often develop projects on behalf of the Council. Ad Hoc committees are created at the discretion of the Council Chair to work on limited-term projects.These committees continue until the project is complete. Ad hoc committee members are often experts in the field requested to join the committee at the discretion of the committee chair.
